Job Description

Under general supervision, the Office 365/Azure Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert contributing to a wide variety of projects in support of the Personal Technology roadmap. Works under the direction of senior leadership and reports to the Manager of Digital Workplace Infrastructure. Duties will include some or all the following:

  • Serve as SME for Microsoft Office 365 products and Azure integration with ADFS, AADConnect, MFA, SSO, and related technologies

  • Contribute to future planning, implementation, and support of emerging Microsoft cloud technologies

  • Provide troubleshooting steps and operational documentation to the global operations team

  • Maintain Office 365 licensing, maintain documentation for Office 365 processes and procedures

  • Analyze technical needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions for the Office 365 and Azure environment

  • Troubleshoot to detect and solve technical problems, installs, and updates required on hardware and software

  • Lead and design the technical infrastructure processes, integrate solutions into existing infrastructure, consult on development projects, help deploy solutions that meet business and technical requirements

  • Review current technologies, tools, and services and make recommendations for their use based on security, financial, and operational criteria

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology, or a related scientific or technical discipline

  • Industry Certifications preferred (MCSE, MCP, other)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience

  • Fluent or highly experienced with Azure and O365 technologies

  • Troubleshoots to detect and solve technical problems, installs or updates required hardware and software, and recommends products or equipment to improve productivity (Level III support of the products owned)

  • Produces detailed documentation and training guides when required
