Job Description

Payment processing and Fraud prevention play a crucial role in today’s e-commerce solutions across several industries. Sabre Payment Development team is proudly supporting the needs of Travel industry in this area by providing a comprehensive set of Web Services to several Sabre Point of Sale and other applications, as well as to external vendors. We are now looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Summer Intern to perform the following duties:

  • Under general supervision, develops, codes, tests and debugs new moderately complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity

  • May assist in the development of software technical documentation and demonstrate software

  • May design and build prototype applications

  • May work on one or more of several exciting projects such as Re-structuring of internal collaborative tools and Enhancements to GUI tools

Job Requirements


  • Technical skills - Java, Web Services, GUI, Subversion and Object Oriented Analysis/Design

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Databases and unit testing a definite plus

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree with a graduation date after August 2019.

Preferred Majors: Computer Science or Engineering

Attributes or Experience Preferred:

  • Minimum 1-year related experience in the areas listed above

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
