Job Description

The Marketing Manager, Air Line of Business (LOB) will be accountable for the assessment, planning and execution of the optimum marketing plan to enhance the Sabre value proposition across the Air LOB spectrum, including suppliers and buyers.

On the supplier side, the Marketing Manager will partner closely with the Air Commerce sales team as well as the broader marketing organization to develop and execute the marketing plan for the airline segment, including events, campaigns, thought leadership, product launches and sales readiness activities in support of identified business objectives.

On the buyer side, the Marketing Manager will act a subject matter expert working collaboratively with other segment managers to ensure that key Air LOB messages and product go-to-market activities are effectively tailored and disseminated to the agency and corporation audiences.

Job Requirements


Marketing planning and execution: Create and execute annual segment marketing plan utilizing an integrated mix of marketing tools. Identify budget and execution requirements. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Segment Marketing, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales Readiness), create and execute industry and customer events; customer messaging and marketing campaigns; sponsorships and speaker placement.

Market and customer insight: Research and analyze market trends, industry landscape, competitive intelligence and customer segmentation to inform Air LOB strategy, aid business decisions and to define the Air LOB marketing strategy.

Sales enablement and customer engagement: Partner with Sales to plan and execute key customer lifecycle activities with effective marketing support. Lead or assist in the creation of enablement content for sales teams (e.g. playbooks, fact base, battle cards, scripts, presentations).

Global collaboration: Partner with Air LOB marketing peers and Field Marketing to effectively capture and represent regional nuances into the marketing planning process, balancing global focus and successful in-market execution.


  • Minimum 8 years of business experience with proven success in B2B Marketing Communication

  • Diverse marketing background preferably in the travel and/or technology industries with the ability to effectively prioritize efforts and recommend trade-offs based on business impact.

  • Experience in working for a multinational business and in close collaboration with a regional Sales organization

  • Research and analysis competence, strong commercial acumen, good understanding of the technology market is an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal skills to inspire and build productive relationships with internal and external partners, solid influencing skills, excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
