The Principal of Product Management will be instrumental in Sabre’s lodging distribution transformation, and will shepherd the creation of new business opportunity and consumer experiences globally thru the LCS Platform and Product & Services. The Product Manager will manage these offerings throughout their lifecycle; coordinating the contributions of other functions and taking responsibility for commercial success or failure.

In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with the LGS Line of Business to refine and execute Sabre’s Lodging product strategy and technology investments for Sabre’s global lodging product offering. This role collaborates directly with hoteliers and travel agencies as well as a variety of internal stakeholders to continually enhance and evolve Sabre’s Lodging product offering, increase value to customers, and drive growth and innovation for Sabre. The individual will have:

Has domain expertise in the hospitality &/or other related travel sectors.
Has experience in travel distribution product and/or the B2B travel product landscape.

High level responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Contribute to the development of multi-year product roadmaps including investment plan for LGS’s Lodging business
Designs, implements and directs the development of Sabre’s global Lodging product lines, including product strategy definition, requirements analysis and product pricing.
Develops business plans, manages lifecycles and product positioning in the marketplace.
Refines broad concepts and business strategies into structured product plans.
Works with Product Marketing, Supplier Commerce and Sales to conduct research on hospitality and leisure markets, monitor competitive activity and identify/anticipate customer needs.
Makes recommendations for pricing strategies to optimize customer value and company financial performance.
Collaborates with customer sales teams, technology teams and R&D to identify new innovations to grow the lodging business.
Works with colleagues in marketing, technology and corporate development to assess build vs. buy opportunities.
Responsible for execution of quarterly Portfolio Reviews for products and services in their assigned portfolio
